The two stories are located in the small town of Arcadia Bay (hence the name of the series) and are renowned for their emotional stories with unforgettable characters, sublimely designed soundtracks and captivating gameplay that relies on choice.

The Life of Strange. The original Life is Strange story tells the story of Max Caulfield (a young promising photographer who attends Blackwell Academy). However, Max isn’t only the ability to take pictures – she also discovers she is able to rewind time. When her new powers lead to her reconnecting with an old friend Chloe Price, Max begins an adventure to find her own hidden secrets that lurk within the darkness that lie in Arcadia Bay…

Life is Strange: Prior to Storm. Three years before the happenings in the series’ original, Life Is Strange Before The Storm gives you the role of Chloe (16) and she makes an unlikely friendship and befriends Rachel Amber, the popular, beautiful Rachel Amber.

When Rachel uncovers a dark secret about her family which threatens to destroy her world and her bond with Chloe helps her find the courage to fight on. Both sisters have to face their demons together and come to a resolution.

All DLC included in Life is Strange Arcadia Bay Collection is included, along with additional costumes and the bonus episode, “Farewell”.

What changes have been added to the games on Switch?
“Life is Strange” and “Life is Strange in the Before the Storm are the most enjoyable they’ve ever been in the history of Nintendo Switch. The game isn’t just a port. Nearly every part of the game was designed to work on Switch and provide the best experience. The graphics are stunning, but in addition, it feels fantastic to experience.

Both games have been vastly upgraded from the original version which has improved lighting, character models and much more. Life is Strange has also improved with fully facial motion capture, making these characters much more engaging and expressive that they were before.

In addition, all the bugs and improvements that have been added on the Life is Strange Remastered Collection since its launch will be included in the Switch version as standard which makes it the full collection in more ways than one!
