Sol Cresta takes the docking and formation techniques of the old-fashioned shooter games Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta and elevates them by introducing it’s “free-form docking” technique. The main character, Yamato is comprised of the ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano will be able to employ a range of different attacks determined by the manner in which the three ships are placed. The secret to defeating Mandler’s invading armies is docking, splitting and reforming ships.
